一、定語從句的概念
定語從句就是修飾主句裏的名詞或代詞的從句，本質上相當於“形容詞”。
二、定語從句的類型
定語從句分爲限制性定語從句和非限制性定語從句。大多數定語從句都對所修飾的名詞或代詞加以限制，去掉該從句後先行詞將意義不全或失去意義。而非限制性定語從句的作用在於補充，翻譯是常常另起一個句子，與主句構成並列句。例如：
That’s the same man that asked for help the day before yesterday.
Immigrants are quickly fitting into this common culture, which may not be altogether elevating but is hardly poisonous.
三、定語從句與同位語從句的區別
1. 同位語從句的形式與定語從句相似，它們之間都有先行詞，但與先行詞的關係有所不同：同位語從句與先行詞同位或等同，定語從句與先行詞則是修飾關係。
2. 在定語從句中，關係詞要代替先行詞在從句中作適當的句子成分：而同位語從句的引導詞則只起引導作用，沒有代替前面名詞在從句中作句子成分的作用。試比較以下兩個句子：
The fact that he had not said anything surprised everybody.(同位語從句)
The fact that you are talking about is important.(定語從句)

finding 後是省略連詞that的賓語從句。該從句時there be 句型，其主語comparable fabrics後有一個that引導的限制性定語從句直到句末。該定語從句的衛浴動詞replace帶了兩個由and鏈接的並列的髕骨從句，都用what引導。
譯文：大多數現有品牌設計師都發現，找不到滿意的有機布料來取代現在使用的、顧客已經習慣了的布料。

1. said 之後的'內容是個省略引導詞that的賓語從句。e skeleton...是個定語從句，修飾n。

1. who 引導的定語從句修飾。
2.本句是肯定陳述句，卻用了doing anything而不是doing something,語義上有所強調。
