1、Personal Information
一、Name(姓名)， 英語的習慣寫法是名在前、姓在後。
二、Address(通信地址)， 英語通信地址的寫法與漢語迥然不同，漢語是從大到小，英語是從小到大，如：88 Gaodi Lane, Beijing Road, Guangzhou(廣州市北京路高等街88號)。
三、Postal Code(郵政編號)。
四、Phone Number(電話號碼)。
以上四項往往放於開頭，單獨列出。
五、Gender(性別)：Male (男)或Female (女倘若在姓名前面已經加上了Mr. (先生)，Miss (小姐)、Mrs. (太太)或到代替語，則不必填寫此項。如果招聘的`職位沒有限制性別，也可省略此項。
六、Date of Birth, Birthdate(出生日期)：March 12, 1958(美式英語)or 12 March, 1958(英式英語)亦可用來代替。
七、Birthplace(出生地點)，如：Zhuhai(珠海)
八、 Nationality(國籍或民族)，如：P. R. C.(中國)，the Han(漢語)，亦可用Citizenship ：Chinese(中國)。如有雙重國籍則寫：Duel Citizenship： 如：Chinese and Canadan(中國和加拿大)。倘若不是求職於海外，則不必填寫國籍。
九、Height(身高)，如：175cm(175公分)或1.75m(1.75米)
十、Weight(體重)，如：60kg(60公斤)
十一、Martial Status(婚姻狀況)：Married or Single or divorced(已婚、單身、離異)
十二、Number of Children(子女人數)，如：one or none(1個或無)當然，未婚者可不填寫此項。如果離異者的子女經法院判決或通過協議離婚作出決定由對方攜帶撫養，便可在此項中填寫(無)。
十三、Health Condition(健康狀況)：excellent(極佳)、very good(很好)、strong(強壯)。
十四、Hobbies(業餘愛好)，如：playing basketball(打籃球)、playing the violin(拉小提琴)、jogging(慢跑)，dancing(跳舞)，有些 招聘 單位喜歡錄用有體育和文藝等方面的專長的人員，因此，如果你有這方面的嗜好或專長也是一種優勢。某些需要耐心的工作，倘若你有釣魚(fishing)之嗜好，亦可填寫進去。
十五、Membership(會員資格)，如：Translators” Association of Guangzhou(廣州 翻譯 協會)，現在各行各業都有協會和學會或者研究會，在此項中有則填之，無則不用填。當然，你若是參加了某個或幾個學術組織，特別是擔任了理事、會長之類的職務，這無疑會增添你的求職 競爭優勢。

Here are some details you should remove from your résumé:

Passive language. Use action verbs and don't make weak references to your achievements. You should cut to the chase and immediately address the skill so you seem like you have the experience, instead of looking like a trainee.
