英語四級考試報道總分爲710分，試卷由寫作、聽力理解、閱讀理解和翻譯四個部分組成，每個部分所佔分值爲報道總分的比值分別爲：寫作15%(滿分106.5分)，聽力35%(滿分248.5分)，閱讀35%(滿分248.5分)，翻譯15%(滿分106.5分)。
