本課主要讓學生繼續學習現在進行時的用法以及5個動詞詞組:

play basketball ,play football ,play ping-pong, pass the ball及catch the ball

2.學情分析:

本節課的授課對象是小學四年級的學生。他們的學習習慣較好、活潑好動、有較強的求知慾、極具學習潛力。他們已經學過一些表示活動的單詞。如:boat,swim,run,ride,jump,sing,dance等並能做一些相應的TPR活動。在第二冊Unit 9中,學生已學習若干表示現在進行時的句子,同時,學生比較熟悉教師的指令語。這些都爲本課的教學打下了基礎。

3. 教學理念

新課標指出:一堂成功的課要看學生在課堂學習中自主的程度、合作的效度和探究的深度。因此在設計本課教學時,教師圍繞着教學目標,配合有效的課堂活動。

1.以興趣爲支持,使學生對課堂教學充滿主動參與的熱情

本課設計的說唱歌曲、遊戲、朗讀等課堂教學活動都富有情趣,目的是爲了激發學生的興趣,用課件的展播拓展教材的內容,培養學生的民族自豪感

2. 激發學生主動探究,進行學法指導的滲透

本課在引導學生感悟,體驗與嘗試中得出動詞現在分詞的構成規律,並在拆分舊單詞,學習新單詞的過程中進行學法指導的滲透,提高學生的課堂學習效果。

4、教學目標:

(1)、知識與技能目標:

①能聽懂、認讀並記住單詞:basketball , football ,ping-pong , pass , shot

②能應用本課重點句型:What are they doing?They’re ….詢問與描述現在進行時的句子

③初步感知動詞現在進行時的構成規律。

(2)、技能與方法目標:

①讓學生通過看圖、聽音與拼讀等方式學習新單詞:basketball , football ,ping-pong , pass , shot。

②在學習單詞過程中引導學生學習和掌握根據讀音記憶單詞的方法及動詞現在分詞構成形式。

③運用圖片和課件提供的情景引導學生正確運用現在進行時詢問別人正在做什麼。

(3)、情感與態度目標:

培養學生繼續學習英語的興趣。教育孩子養成喜愛運動的好習慣。通過申奧短片培養學生的愛國精神與民族自豪感。

Step1 Warming –up

(設計說明)考慮到學生容易把Run,run, I can run…與現在進行時句型混淆,所以用學生熟悉的動詞邊說邊做動作,創造學習英語的氛圍,直接切入本課的教學重點。

T: Why do you feel happy?

Ss: Because it’s fun ,And we can have fun in class.

T: Yes, we can have fun in class,We also can have fun after class,we can do some exercises after class,So today we are going to talk about “Activities after class” ’a new unit and a new lesson .

2.Teach the new words:football, ping-pong, basketball

詞組操練:play football , play basketball , play ping-pong

(1)教師出示詞卡:football, 升調、降調讀單詞

T: Can you spell this word?

Ss: Yes ,f-o-o-t-b-a-l-lfootball

(2)同法教單詞basketball

T: Can you play basketball?

S1: Yes, I can

T: That’ great! Maybe you’re a good player, you’re so tall.

(3)教學Ping-pong

T:(左手拿basketball,右手拿一個乒乓球)look at these two balls,The basketball is big.

T: Is this ball big?

Ss: No, it’s small

T: This is a small ball,we call it “ping-pong” Another way of this saying is table tennis, They are the same, Are you clear?

Ss: Yes

T: Now , read after me.

教師提醒學生注意ping-pong 中間的連字符。That’s a Chinese ball,so pay attention to this “-”.

3. 談論有關sport 的詞:

T: I’ve got a question for you: Do you like sports?

Ss: Yes ,we do

T: What can you think of when we talk about sports?

S1: run ,jump,

T: What else can you think of?

S2: swim, boat…

T: What another sports name do you know?

S3: play basketball,play football,play ping-pong,play volleyball,play badminton…

通過師生的自由會話,鼓勵學生說出有關運動的動詞,學生既複習了以前學過的動詞又提高了發散思維的能力,也爲進行時的學習做好語言上的'鋪墊,側重培養學生英語交際能力

(2)用課件呈現動詞及其ing形式

(3)師帶讀上述動詞及其現在分詞,讓學生仔細觀察動詞現在進行時是如何由動詞原形演變而來的

(設計說明)教師在與學生進行問答的過程中,把相應動詞的現在進行時寫在黑板上,並有意識地把這些動詞歸類,以便讓學生總結動詞現在進行時的構成規律。小學生理解抽象的語法知識有一定難度,效果比讓他們死記硬背語法規則要好得多,也順利攻克了本課教學的那點之一。
