一：選擇適合你的：履歷(CV)還是簡歷(Résumé)?
CV的全稱是curriculum
vitae, 拉丁語，指的是 “course of life”，人生的進程。In Australia, a CV is a comprehensive
document used in academic circles and medical careers that elaborates on
education, publications, and other
achievements.在澳大利亞，CV是在學術界和醫療事業中闡述受教育經歷，出版物和其它成就的綜合文件。
CV有以下幾個特點：

Variable length depending on the necessity (up to 2 or more
pages)
長度可以根據不用的需要而改變(可以兩頁甚至更多)

Focuses on education and academic background of a specific
area
注重在某一個領域的教育程度和學術背景

Aims at demonstrating one's qualifications
目的在於展現一個人的學歷和資歷
值得注意的是：CV和Résumé可是有區別的哦!~
Résumé
是法語引申過來的，指的是“總結”。
A
CV contains greater detail than a Résumé, a shorter summary which is more often
used in applications for jobs.
一個CV比一個簡歷包含了更多細節。Résumé是被運用在求職信中一個較短的總結，長度比CV短，可是使用的頻率比CV高。

letter應該：
1. 包含一個關於你自己的簡短介紹和陳述你寫這封信的目的
2. 突出相關技能，資歷和經驗
3. 給出現實生活中的例子
4. 這封信是針對你所申請的那個職位的
5. 在這封信中注入你的個人風格，使你在競爭中脫穎而出

第一段：Purpose
of your letter, 這一段要包括你是如何得知這個招聘啓事的，簡單的表達你的興趣，使用客套用語，比如“I am extremely
interested in this job opportunity.“
第二段：why
you want this job,
說明你的qualification和與這個工作相關的職業規劃，這一段必須展示你已經對這個工作做過研究並且瞭解這份工作
第三段：Your
specialist skills that are relevant to the job,
知道僱主需要什麼並且向僱主展現你的專業技能能夠給這個公司帶來價值。寫下Relevant qualifications, experience,
achievements and skills，把這些作爲你的'賣點!~並給出一些例子~
第四段：Your
general skills that relevant to the job,
列舉一下你的普通技能，比如交流和人際關係方面的，團隊意識，主動性和積極程度，解決問題的能力，計劃和組織，自我管理等等…
第五段：結尾段，在這裏，簡單地說明你想在這個公司工作的意願，並詢問能否申請面試機會。你可以直接把以下這個範文改成你自己的：“If
you believe I possess the qualities you are looking for, I would greatly
appreciate an interview at your convenience. I can be reached at [your phone
number] every day of the week after [time] I am not available, please leave a
message and I will return your call promptly. I also can be reached at my e-mail
address: [your email address].”
如何寫CV
CV應該被分爲不同的小節，這樣會幫助讀者理清所讀的內容。通過把整篇分爲不同部分能使文章更加系統化。有些section是必須在CV中出現的，而有些其他section是可以刪除的。大家在寫CV的時候，按順序遵從下面的清單來寫。標星號的部分是必需要寫的哦!~

Education*教育
Degree
sand certifications that are relevant. Insert the title of your thesis. Most
recent is first on the list.
相關的學歷和憑證。插入你的論文題目。最新的要放到最前面。

Honours and Awards榮譽與獎項
Honours
and awards received, including scholarships. Do not add
descriptions.
獲得的榮譽和獎項，包括獎學金。
4.
Professional Experience* 職業經歷
Most
recent goes first. Include employer's name and job position. Do not add
redundant descriptions.

In
case you have published any books or articles during your academic
career.

interests and hobbies that are real and at the same time active. Positive
adjectives and qualities are preferable, of course. You may insert some quality
that makes you special.

In
