隨着中國國力的不斷增強，對知識產品的進出口量也在逐年加大，這就牽涉到了版權貿易的問題。但是在我國，這還是一個新興的領域，很多制度和操作還不健全。今天先來簡單介紹一下版權貿易的常用語。
必須要注意的是如下幾個詞組：
版權法copyright law ——各國因制度和出版物管理方式不同而差異較大。
版權貿易copyright business ——包括著作權、商標權等項目的貿易。
版權所有copyright reserved; Copyrighted ——即某一作品的版權擁有者，可以是個人，也可以是團體。版權所有者受到版權法的保護，其貿易等權利不容侵犯。
版稅率royalty rate——指在版權貿易過程中的交易稅率。
以下用英語具體解釋一下最基本的`概念——版權法：
Copyright law——This Law is enacted, in accordance with the Constitution for the purposes of protecting the copyright of authors in their literary, artistic and scientific works and rights related to copyright, of encouraging the creation and dissemination of works which would contribute to the construction of socialist spiritual and material civilization, and of promoting the development and flourishing of socialist culture and sciences.
以上是我國版權法訂出的總則，但事實上，版權貿易是很複雜的貿易活動，由於各國這方面的法律相差較大，所以貿易衝突並不鮮見。
