筆者在面試時，老師提問主要是量子力學。這一門課程只學過半個學期，並且它本身很難，複習時也沒有作爲主攻課程。這時，筆者首先回答了基礎性的問題，如波粒二象性、薛定諤
方程的物理意義等等；然後對方老師開始問一些超晶格中的量子物理現象(超晶格也沒有學過，只看過基礎概念)。此時，對策是先說出它的基本物理意義，然後再反問對方老師現在研究的進展如何，碰到的問題怎麼樣。然後就着老師的回答，對他研究中所用到的原理與提問，用學過的物理知識回答。然後再討論式的請問老師如何解決問題，他此時會問筆者如何解決。這時再用自己所學，加上一定的發揮來回答(這種問題不論對錯，只是老師考學生思維方式的一種手段)。
面試時間約35分鐘，對方老師較滿意。
第一， 英語問題。英語絕對是第一關，此關不過，其他的沒有什麼必要再瞭解了； 第二，完善的職業計劃或者學習計劃。一個不知道自己想做什麼的人，很難讓人相信你會認真對待將來的學習；
第三，合適的背景知識。進入匯豐學習，你是需要具備一定的專業基礎和數學的，沒有很好的專業水平和數學水平，老師也會懷疑你的將來的學習能力的，這裏你可以通過面試把你的.專業和數學水平表現出來；
