The significance of world population day

At present, the difference between the population growth rate of developing countries and developed countries is still very large. The population of developing countries is growing at an annual population growth rate of 1.7%, while the annual population growth rate of developed countries is only 0.4%.

4/5 of the world's population is living in less developed areas, and 94% of the world's population is growing there. Controlling population growth and mastering the knowledge and methods of family planning are a crucial factor. In the July 11th World Population Day, the United Nations Environment Programme reminded the world.

Globally, birth rates and death rates are on the decline. At present, the world population is 5 billion 800 million, and at the same time it is increasing at an annual rate of 1.48%. That is to say, the global population is growing at an rate of 80 million per year.
