摘 要
本文主要研究《人到中年》中的知識女性形象及其形象意義問題, 通過對陸文婷這個知識女性的形象分析，反映出陸文婷是1位道德高尚的知識女性，她任勞任怨、奮發向上，她堅強不屈，淡泊名利；她是1個醫術精湛的白衣天使；她是1個具有傳統家庭責任感和現代社會責任感的知識女性。她是1名眼科醫生，無職無權也無名無位，工作超負荷而待遇低下，1家4口擠住1間陋室，家徒4壁，生活過得10分清寒。但就是在這樣困窘的生存條件下，陸文婷仍任勞任怨地辛勤工作。她具有高度的.社會責任感，爲事業犧牲了家庭和個人的利益，即使是在生命垂危之際，她仍在牽掛着自己的病人，而且職業角色未能壓倒其天賦的母性、妻性，她對孩子和丈夫深懷歉疚之情，卻唯獨忘了關心自己。小說爲讀者刻畫的是1位物質極度匱乏而精神卻無比富有、平凡而又高尚的知識女性形象
