well ， i‘d like to give you a short self-introduction. My name is Yang Zheng， 30 years old, I come from Hubei Province. In 2005 I graduated from Harbin Institute of Technology ,where I received my Bachelor degree and Master degree. My major is Civil Engineering, my Field of research for a graduate student is Geotechnical Earthquake Engineering. During the 7 years’ university education, I got a systematic view and a complete comprehension of the formation and development of Civil Engineering gives me a lot to learn ,a lot of chances to try, and a lot of practices to improve myself.
Since 2005, I have been working as a teacher in Harbin university of Science and Technology. the courses I have taught are Engineering Geology and soil mechanics. The experience of teaching makes me a man of accuracy and strict method. At the same time it also make me realize that being a teacher, being a qualified teacher is not a piece of cake. It is necessary for me to broad my view, to better apply theory to practice . to make a solid foundation for future profession. I need to go further in my own field. So I choose this!
Besides English, I also learnt another foreign language –russian , now I can speak and read in Russian. I can be skillful in searching for information in both English and Russian is my pride.

During my undergraduate years, I devoted a lot of time and energy into the study and the practice of medicine. I cultivated the habit of learning by myself. When I was faced with problems, I would look up relevant literatures and some medical books. I want to tell you that I'm such kind of person, if you ask me a question, and I don't know the answer, I'm going to tell you that I don't know. But I bet you that: I know how to find the answer, and I'll find the answer.
Today what makes me stand here is my love of science, my curiosity of the mystery world of cardiac surgery(···)and my honor of becoming a cardiac surgeon(···). Five-year college life impressed me with some unforgettable experiences and I understand what is the accurate definition of a doctor. A doctor is not only a skilled man, but a man who works for the good of humanity and inspires trust from their patients and who needs more compassion and sense of obligation.
Today I would like to share with all of you the time when I was an intern serving for cardiac surgery department in Beijing People’s Hospital. I have been there for one month. “Feeling confused and being lost” can best describe the beginning of my life of being an cardiac surgeon intern. Rigorous aseptic concept, careful debridement, clever/skilled suture and intricate heart anatomy make up a roadblock keeping me far away from the surgery. How to become a cardiac surgeon, or even the excellent one? I ask myself again and again. Diligence and strict training, I tell myself once and once again. No matter how difficult it is , no matter what the future will leave for me, even only the darkness and nothing, I must go ahead without any hesitation. I like this profession filled with challenge and mystery. It is such faith that drives me to go further.
Today, it is the faith and courage that make me to choose your Hospital as my target. But I also know that there is a long and rough road ahead, and our climb will be steep, and for that, I will spare no effort to further my study and skills.
