包括3篇文章，每篇文章有5個問題，每題3分。共45分，幾乎佔整個考試分值的一半，是得分的重點部分。

二、解題方法
無論何種類型的問題，都是先看問題，判斷類型，帶着問題閱讀文章!
(1)主旨題解題方法
第一，若是問及某一段的主旨，就重點留意該段的首尾句，從首尾句中概括主旨;若首尾句中沒有包含主旨，則尋找解決問題的語句，進行概括。
第二，若是問及某一篇文章的主旨，則重點留意文章的首段與尾段;若文章的首尾段沒有包含主旨，則對各個段落進行概括歸納。
(2)細節題解題方法
第一，在問題中，劃出重點詞(信息詞)，在原文中查找該詞的對應處，對比選項，選擇與原文表述一致的一項。
第二，對於判斷正誤的問題，應先看選項再看文章，選項與原文一一比對，找出與原文不一致或未提及的一項。
(3)詞語釋義題解題方法
第一，查詞典。
第二，如未查到此詞，用選項替換，回到文中，選擇表意正確通順的一項。
(4)推理判斷題解題方法
第一，看清楚推斷的`依據是什麼，即根據什麼進行推理判斷。
第二，若依據的段落較短，則理解該段後再答題;若依據的段落較長，重點關注段落的首尾句，進行答題。
(5)觀點意圖題解題方法
第一，看清楚提問的是“誰”關於“什麼”的觀點;
第二，在原文中找到含有表示觀點的詞語的句子，根據句子進行判斷;
第三，若沒有含有表示觀點的詞語的句子，則根據中心意思進行判斷。
