建議一：精心設計一個自然的開場白。
例如：c(考官)：may i come in?(我能進來嗎?)
i(應聘者)：yes， please. oh， you are jin li， aren’t you?(請進。哦，你是李勁吧?)
c：yes， i am. (對，我是。)
i：please sit here， on the sofa. ( 請坐。)
c：thank you. (謝謝。)
採用excuse me. is this personnel department?(請問，這裏是人力資源部嗎?)或excuse me for interrupting you. i''m here for an interview as requested.(不好意思打攪了，我是依約來應聘的。)類似問法都比較合適。
在確定了 面試 場所和 面試 官之後，簡潔地用good morning/afternoon向 面試 官打招呼，也能令在場的人提升對你的印象。
建議二：不要害怕外表冷冰冰的考官
一些用人單位與面試者的最初交流是比較冷冰冰的。例如：
i：your number and name， please.(請告知你的號碼和名字。)
c：my number is sixteen and my name is zhixin zhang.(我是16號，我叫張志新。)
這時，面試者不要覺得有壓力，面試官的態度冷漠並不是針對你個人，你只需要照實簡潔地回答即可。
在某些情況下，面試官會問一些看起來比較普通和隨意的問題，但實際上是暗藏深意的，例如：
how did you come? a very heavy traffic?(你怎麼來的?路上很堵吧?)
你的回答可以是這樣：yes， it was heavy but since i came here yesterday as a rehearsal， i figured out a direct bus line from my school to your company， and of course，i left my school very early so it doesn’t matter to me. (是的，很堵。但我昨天已經預先來過一次並且找到了一條從我們學校直達貴公司的公交路線，並且在今天提早從學校出發。因此，路上的擁堵並沒有影響到我。)這樣的回答就點出了你的計劃性以及細心程度。
建議三：抓住考官問題的關鍵點回答
如果應聘者突然聽不懂面試官的話，或者問題太複雜，該如何回答?下面是一名工商大學的學生參加一知名化妝品公司英文面試中的一段：
i：you are talking shop. how will you carry out marketing campaign if we hire you?(你很內行。如果我們僱用你的`話，你打算如何開始你的市場工作?)
c：sorry， sir. i beg your pardon.(對不起，能重複一下嗎?)
i：i mean that how will you design your work if we hire you?(我的意思是如果我們決定錄用你，你打算如何開展市場工作?)
c：thank you， sir. i’ll organize trade fair and symposium，prepare all marketing materials， and arrange appointments for our company with its business partners.(謝謝。我將組織貿易展銷會和研討會，預備所有營銷材料，爲公司及其商業夥伴安排見面會。)
i：do you know anything about this company?(你對本公司的情況瞭解嗎?)
c：yes， a little. as you ××mentioned just now， yours is an america-invested company. as far as i know， ××company is a world-famous company which produces cosmetics and skincare products. your cosmetics and skincare products are very popular with women in all parts of the world.(是的，瞭解一點點。正如你剛纔所提到的那樣，貴公司是一家美資公司。據我所知，貴公司是一家世界聞名生產美容護膚品的公司。你們的美容護膚品深受世界各地婦女的歡迎。)
在希望對方重複問題時，除了i beg your pardon.還可以用would you please rephrase your sentence?的表達方式。
建議四：巧用過渡語，表明自己用心聽問題
如果面試者在面試時可以用一些類似：as you mentioned(正如您所說的)或者as far as i know(據我所知)，表示你一直在認真聽對方的談話。此外，你還可以選擇as it is shown in my resume(正如我的 簡歷 所提到的)或as my previous experience shows(如我之前的工作經驗所示)之類的表達法另外，在面試之前，面試者對應聘公司應有所瞭解。比如瞭解公司的規模、業務、未來發展，這些往往被中國學生忽略了，對公司文化理解是否深刻，是你超出其他應聘者的一個亮點。但如果實在不瞭解，就應根據所知誠實回答。
