一、教學內容
《PEP小學英語》六年級下冊 Unit 1 Part A. Let’s try / Let’s talk / Group work
二、教學目標
1.能聽、說、讀、寫四會句型How tall are you? I'm 164 cm tall. You're
shorter than me. You're 4 cm taller than me.並能在真實的情景中進行交流。
2.能描述自己的年齡，體重，身高，並能用比較級與別人進行比較。
3.能聽懂會說Let's chant。
4.能聽懂並完成Let’s try 部分的練習。
5. 能完成Group work中的調查表。
三、教學重、難點
1.掌握句型：How tall are you? I'm 164 cm tall. You're shorter than me. You're 4 cm taller than me.
2.難點：能描述自己的年齡、體重、身高，並能與別人進行比較。

五、教學過程
一、熱身與複習(Warming-up and revision )
1.播放Let's sing(P12)的錄音，讓學生聽一聽，營造英語課堂的氛圍。
2.播放Let's chant(P2)的錄音，先讓學生感受歌謠的韻律，然後再學唱歌謠。
Mike is taller than Lee. Lee is taller than Sue.
Sue is taller than Amy. How tall are you?
Amy is smaller than Sue. Sue is smaller rhan Lee.
Lee is smaller than Mike. Are you smaller tnan me ?
(設計目的： 本部分主要是讓學生聽、唱英語歌曲、說唱chant等方式進行復習和熱身。熱身活動的目的是營造英語學習氛圍，激發學生學習英語的興趣，以舊帶新，爲新課學習做鋪墊。因此選用的歌曲、chant等內容最好與新授內容有關。)
二、導入新課(Lead-in)
1.創設情景，學習新語言點
1)新年新氣象。
T: Hello. Boys and girls .I' m happy to see you again. By the way, how old are you now?
T: Yes are one year older than before. How old are you?
Sl: I' m 12 years old.
T: What about you ?
S2: 1'm 12, too.
T: Oh, I' m 32. 1' m twenty years older than you.
2)多媒體出示姚明、劉翔、潘長江、小瀋陽、李宇春等明星及他們的明星檔案，教師請幾名學生模仿明星，其他學生採訪明星。
出示交際句型：
Hello, Liu Xiang. How old are you? How tall are you?
How heavy are you? What's your hobby?
3)比高矮
(1)圖片出示潘長江和劉翔的畫面，問：Who is taller?再點一下鼠標邊說邊出示句子：Liu Xiang is 50 cm taller than Pan Changjiang.教師示範說。
(2)教師與一學生對話：
T：I’m 164 cm tall . How tall are you ?
S1：I’m 160 cm tall .
T：Mmm…I’m 4 cm taller than you . You’re shoter than me.
板書：How tall are you?
I'm 164 cm tall.
You're shorter than me.
You're 4 cm taller than me.
(3) Pair work. 同桌學生運用以上句型練說。
4 ) 稱一稱，說一說。
老師站在稱上稱一稱說：I'm 50 kg.
然後要求學生也站在稱上稱一稱，並回答老師的提問：How heavy are you?要求學生用I'm…kg.來回答，接着由這位學生問下一位比自己小的同學，以此類推。
