在託福寫作中，高分作文都是有一個共同的特點，那就是正確的運用了英語。那怎樣纔算是正確的運用了英語呢?下面就和小編一起來看看吧!
一、當三個以上的詞並列時，除了最後一個詞外，其他間用逗號隔幵。
例如：
Red, white, and green
Honest, energetic, but headstrong
He opened the letter, read it, and made a note of its content.
二、逗號之間放插入句。
因爲常常很難確定一個短語或者句子是否是插入語，所以這個規則應用起來很難。如果斷開對句子的語流影響非常輕微，那麼可以安全的省略逗號。然而，無論這種斷開是輕微的還是重大的，決不能省略一個逗號而保留另一個逗號。
三、非限定性定語從句用逗號隔開
The audience, which had at first been indifferent, became more and more interested.
四、限定性定語從句不能用逗號隔開
The candidate who best meet these requirements will obtain the place.
五、不要用逗號連接獨立從句;如早想把語法上意思上完整,且不用連詞連接的兩個或兩個以上的從句組成一個並列句，正確的標點符號應該是分號。
Peter's stories arc entertaining; they are full of exciting adventures.
Peter's stories arc entertaining, for they are full of exciting adventures.
I had never been in the place before so I had difficulty in finding my way about.
如果第二個從句之前是一個副詞，如before , accordingly , besides, then therefore 或是 thus ,而不是連詞，仍然使用分號。
Mon proposes, God disposes.
The gate swung apart, the bridge foil, the portcullis was drawn up.
如果幾個從句都很短，句式結構也很相似，常允許使用逗號隔開。
謹記：不要把逗號當句號使用。
六、放在句首的分詞必須和句子的主語保持一致。
Walking slowly down the road, he sow woman accompanied by two children.
He saw a woman, accompanied by two children, walking slowly down the road.
七、以連詞和介詞開始的分詞短語，同位語名詞，形容詞短語也必須和主語保持一致。
On arriving in Chicago，his friends met him at the station.這個句子是錯誤的
When he arrived (or, on his arrival) Chicago, his friends met him at the station.這個句子是正確的。
八、如果想大力突出某個詞或者詞組，最好將其置於句尾。
Humanity has hardly advanced in fortitude since that time, although it has advanced in many other ways.
自那時起，人類在堅韌上就毫無建樹，儘量在許多方面取得進展。
九、句首是句子中另外一個顯著位置。除了主語，句子中的任何成分被放在句首時，都可以得到加強。
Deceit or treachery he could never forgive.
