對考研複試英語口語的考查，各個學校情況各不相同。有的學校制定了非常詳細的標準和流程，甚至規定了每個老師發問的方式和時間;有的只是面試老師的自由發揮，成績也基本上由面試老師主觀判定。不管面試是否嚴格控制，考生對下面幾個問題一定要認真準備：一是自我介紹，如自己來自什麼地方，畢業學校，所學專業，業餘喜好，家庭基本情況等信息。二是做好用英語講解自己專業的準備。.

1、考試形式：內容包括自我介紹和提問回答，一般是一到兩名老師參與口語考試，首先是考生自我介紹，其次是老師對同學的即興提問。
提問一般包含如下兩部分：

3、評價成績一般爲：
a優秀--能用外語就指定的話題進行口頭交流，基本沒有困難
b良好--能用外語就指定的題材進行口頭交流，雖有些困難，但不影響交流
c及格--能用外語就指定的話題進行簡單的口頭交流
d不及格--不具有口頭表達能力
