自我介紹最基本的要求就是"言之有物、突出個性"。網上流傳着很多自我介紹的模板，翻譯成中文，邏輯順序無外乎這幾點：
一、開場白，姓名，英文名，本科專業，本科學校
二、性格愛好，實踐經驗
三、爲什麼想讀研，讀研時的打算
四、結束語
一般情況下，如果老師看出你是在背事先準備好的材料，他會有意打斷你，問一些其他的問題，測試一下你的反應能力，因此，自我介紹雖然可以提前準備並且有模板可循，但是千萬別完全照搬模板，要結合個人的特點、將自己個性化的部分融入進去。
導師打斷之後，提的問題非常靈活，沒有一個具體的標準，比如說你的個人經歷，成功經歷，失敗經歷，個人夢想，讀研的計劃等等。老師建議大家關於個人的.信息一定要準備好，一定不要臨時去想，因爲臨時想很難組織語言，也很難想得完美。
1、英文畢竟不是咱們的母語，不要刻意求華麗，省的一上場緊張全忘記了，簡單自然最好;
2、也不要太過於滾瓜爛熟，有背稿之嫌，注意頓挫適當;
3、切記不要太長，太長容易出錯。三分鐘以內就可以。語速不要太快，正常語速就可以，講太快容易把自己搞緊張的
模板一：

My name is 名字, 年齡. Icome from 城市, the capital of 省份Province. I am going tograduate from the 院系 department of 大學名稱University in July, 2014. In the past two years I have beenpreparing for the postgraduate examination. Now all my hard work has got aresult since I have a chance to be here.
